Rosi Mangiacavallo holds a MA in Interculture and Social Citizenship and a BA in Politics and International Relations. Her MA thesis, entitled “Thèm Romanó, an Isle in the Gagé World”, focused on the analysis of the relationship between Roma and non-Roma in Italy and in the Czech Republic. She has worked for over 8 years with Romani communities in Italy and Roma Rights NGOs based in Europe. She joined the ERRC as an intern in 2010. In 2011 she started working as the Human Rights Monitor for Italy and since May 2012 she has been Researcher and Human Rights Monitor for the country based in Milan.
