Director of the Roma Education Fund, holds a teacher degree in Mathematics and Chemistry, and a degree in Public Education. She was a member of the School Board of the city of Budapest City Council. Previously Director of the Public Education Development Program at the Soros Foundation in Budapest, and later chief advisor to the Roma Commissioner in the Ministry of Education of Hungary, Judit Szira has published widely on equity issues, active citizenship and social cohesion.
