“Roma Times” hits newstands

The first issue of an independent Romani newspaper Roma Times was published in Skopje on January 17, 2001. Over half of the material in the newspaper is in Romani and the rest is in Macedonian and English. It is published three times a week and had a first issue print run of 3000.
