Reports of violence targeting Roma across Europe are becoming more frequent. These are often set in the context of racist speech against Roma, including by politicians and public officials at the highest levels. Today I’m with Dezideriu Gergely, Executive Director of the European Roma Rights Centre.
No to Special Education for Roma: New ERRC Action in Macedonia

Romani children in Macedonia are massively over-represented in special education. As part of a wider action, the ERRC, together with National Roma Centrum, recently trained 60 Roma activists to campaign for mainstream education for all Romani children.
