Cause of Action: Reproductive Rights of Romani Women in Ukraine

Romani women in Ukraine face segregation in maternity wards and other forms of discrimination when accessing reproductive healthcare. We teamed up with an NGO in Ukraine led by Romani women, Roma Fund Chiricli, to expose what is going on. Chiricli surveyed Romani woman in several locations in Western Ukraine about their experiences accessing reproductive healthcare. What they found flies in the face of human rights guarantees.
